Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a collaborative Network Engineer to support our customers with designing, installing, maintaining and supporting their LAN, WAN and DC environment. The candidate must have a strong networking background and be able to provide architectural guidance, create and maintain network documentation, maintain hardware and software standards and provide recommendations to improve networks.


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • At least 4 years’ experience in network engineering or IT support environment
  • CCNP (Routing & Switching) or equivalent


  • Experience in working with various network technologies, operating systems and protocols such as: Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-OS, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP, VLANs, LACP, vPC, OTV, DMVPN, GETVPN etc.
  • Experience with network management, troubleshooting and identity systems such as: SolarWinds, ManageEngine, Wireshark, Cisco Prime, Cisco ACS, Cisco ISE etc.
  • Experience with design, build and support of network infrastructure
  • Experience working with cloud networking, virtual networks and virtual network devices
  • Experience with implementing networking best practices and standards throughout an infrastructure
  • Experience with creating and updating documentation (to include Visio diagrams) relating to all implementations
  • Deep analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting network related issues – including diagnosing packet captures
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication, documentation, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well under time sensitive deadlines with ability to balance multiple priorities

Senior Network Security Engineer

We are looking for a technology professional who has the necessary skills to collaborate with our customers to solve their tough security challenges. The candidate should have a networking background, and be familiar with designing, implementing, supporting, and evaluating security infrastructure and services.



  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • At least 4 years’ experience in network engineering or IT support environment
  • CCNA certification; CCNP level preferred
  • Security Certification / Accreditation (such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA) would be an asset



  • Experience with security best practices in server configuration, tool development, and access controls
  • Deep familiarity with standard Internet protocols (Ethernet, ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP, TCP, SSL, DNS, HTTP, etc.)
  • Experience with TCP/IP and packet analysis
  • Sharp analytical abilities and proven technical architecture design skills

IT Help Desk Support Specialist

SynCon Technologies Limited is an independent consulting company that specializes in providing professional networking services, and messaging systems. We currently have an opening for a Help Desk Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be awarded a contract for the position.

Job Description

The IT Help Desk Support Specialist will serve as the initial point of contact for issues relating to IT and IS services. They will be responsible for logging tickets, basic troubleshooting, password resets, basic over-the-phone training, and act as an escalation point for higher level issues.


Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Manage the inventory of computer, components and accessories
• Install and upgrade of software on desktops and laptops
• Remotely troubleshoot and resolve all hardware and software related issues for desktops and laptops.
• Create user accounts for access to network resources and applications
• Change user passwords and unlocking of accounts
• Ensure that overnight backups are completed successfully

Education and/or Experience

• Requires a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or a technical degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience in a technological oriented environment with emphasis on user support and troubleshooting
• Experience working with MS Windows, PCs, and LAN management.
